Follow Me Friday #13
Follow Me Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison can Read. Check out their blogs and join in the fun!
Q: I like unique names for characters and am looking forward to coming up with some when I start writing. What's the most unique character name you've come across?
Heven - Masquerade by Cambria Hebert.
An unusual name that I never came across before!
Myrnin - The Morganville Vampire Series by Rachel Caine
The crazy vampire in the Morganville Vampire Series.
The name definitely suits his personality.
Firo - The Foxfire series by Alexandra Lanc
Sounds like a Japanese name to me, but I couldn't think of a better name for an extraterrestrial character.
Peeta and Katniss - The Hunger Games
I doubt I ever heard of someone name Katniss.
Leave your blog link and I'll be sure to check out your blog! Happy Friday!

Heven seems to be more than just a unique name, it's a creative spelling too. Also Myrnin. You know it's original when the pronunciation is questionable. Speaking of, I've been meaning to read that series *scribbles on TBR list*

Are Peeta and Katniss meant to sound like food? Cause I think of Pita bread and Catnip - pot for a cat.
