About the Book

Brilliant, but plain scientist Becca Evans has always done everything she could to make her beautiful sister, Grace, happy. So, when Grace started entering beauty contests, Becca did everything she could to make sure her sister won.

Now, she’s looking at another pageant—at a resort in the Caribbean. The prize? A date with America’s most eligible bachelor, Calum Price. For Grace, it would be the ultimate coup—landing a billionaire. Unfortunately, Calum seems to like Becca better...

Still, she’s determined to help her sister win. Calum doesn’t have to know that she’s the brains behind the beauty, the voice behind the veil, the finger behind the sexting...

But when things go too far, Becca must decide where her loyalty lies—with her sister...or the man she’s falling in love with.

My Review

Rating: 4 Bachelor Stars!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book via Netgalley provided by the author and Entangled Publishing. Thank you for the reviewing opportunity!

A handsome billionaire with a hunger for success.

A nerdy astrophysicist who lives in her sister's shadow with a taste for something wild between the sheets.

It's the classic tale of a nerdy girl meeting a handsome jock, throw in some steamy scenes, scandalous affair, and a beauty pageant into the mix, and you have a great contemporary romance in your hands. Bachelor Games is a quick read that you can finish it one sitting, yet gives you the feels and tug at your heartstrings all the same.

Becca was the "Nottie" between the sister's duo. Unlike her "Hottie" sister, Grace who exudes feminity and classic Audrey Hepburn kind of beauty, Becca does not turn heads or garner the opposite sex's interest, but she was fine with that - until Calum. Calum Price was Men's Magazine The Most Eligible Bachelor and he found himself on a plane to Playground of Paradise Bay Resort to judge a pageant contest. If it weren't for the deal he was about to strike, he wouldn't even dream of getting involved in something so trivial. But an unlikely encounter in the plane escalated into something more. But Becca would do anything to make sure her sister wins the pageant, even if it means sacrificing her heart.

I really enjoyed the story and the author's writing, albeit predictable, it was the perfect read to curl up with in bed. While I think some dialogues are a bit repetitive, especially when Becca keep reinstating the fact that she's inferior to Grace, her past made me understand where she comes from and I can't help but feel emphatic.

Overall, it was a wonderful read!
