Feature & Follow is a feature to increase your blog followers, make friends and have something to post! Create a post every week, link it up in the host's linkups (Alison Can Read & Parajunkee) and comment on other people's posts/blogs! The point is to also FOLLOW them back and have fun at the same time! :)

Happy Friday!!

While Friday is such a great day (because TGIF right?), I woke up with both great and bad news today, so now I'm going to have to suffer through conflicted emotions throughout the day *NOOOO* Not to mention, I'm still suffering from the hangover last night, from caffeine. Yeap! I have caffeine intolerance. I get high just from drinking coffee! And it doesn't help my case because I love love love lattes, but have to restrain myself to not more than 3 cups per week (ugh), or else I'll start rambling really incoherent stuff and start preaching about the existence of unicorns. So, how did your Friday morning went? :D

This week's post prompt is actually inspired by my blog's name! Back in 2011, my friend and I brainstormed the name for my blog and I really wanted it to be a representation of the term escape into your dreamland because I was so engrossed in Rachel Caine's The Morganville Vampire series, the idea of living in a town ruled by vampires seemed like so much fun!

Thus with me being a teenager back then, Dreamland: A Teenage Fantasy was born. Pretty unoriginal if you ask me, but over the years the name had sort of became my personal "branding" and it was shortened to Dreamland Teenage Fantasy (because it was a mouthful! :P).

So I guess this picture speaks volume, because after 10 years since the first book was published, I am still holding on the to the shred of hope that one day I'll be living in The Glass House.

"I said, "Because if vampires built a town they'd probably put streetlights really far apart. So you'd have farther to run to safety." And almost immediately, my mind started spinning about a town designed by vampires. A maze of a town, designed for their comfort. It's their world, we just live there ... and pay them taxes in blood and money." - Rachel Caine,10th Anniversary Celebration for Rachel Caine's MORGANVILLE Series / Blog Tour: Guest Post / Giveaway
