Follow Me Friday #25

by - Friday, February 22, 2013

Follow me Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Check out their blogs and join in this weekly meme fun!

This Week Question :

We always talk about the books that we want. Let's turn it on its head. What books have you given other people lately?

I rarely give away my books to people (Never, to be exact), but this might be a weird coincidence because I recently gave away my (one and only) copy of Hunger Games to my younger brother, just because he was recently addicted to the series (having played The Hunger Games adventure on Facebook and watched the movie) and because of his good behaviour. This might be the only time I gave away my favorite book but I have no regrets as I am excited that he is starting to pick up reading!

What books have you gave out? Leave a comment and I'll be sure to stop by! Happy Friday!

  1. I hope your brother likes the book, but if he doesn't at least the two of you can discuss the plot, etc.

  4. Haha! I hate giving books to people, but some of them are too good to keep for myself :D I've lost count of the people I've given The Hunger Games to!

And it's so sweet you gave it to your brother! It's good to lure someone new into the reading world, isn't it? ;D

  12. What a cool idea, "follow Friday." :)

Books given/lent out . . . gosh, I love my books, but there are only a couple that I keep squirreled away, the rest can be borrowed without pause. In fact, people can take and keep most of the books I have lying around. Not b/c I don't want 'em, just b/c I rarely read a book twice, and I would prefer to have someone to talk about the book with.

I always give nieces and nephews books for gifts. I think they hate me for it. :P
