My second read from the author and you can consider me smitten. 

I binge read on sports romance and while I've come across some really terrible ones, I can safely say that this series got me hooked. 

After reading Hat Trick, I needed a Brayden's book so badly because I felt there were so many questions left unanswered, that was why I jumped at the chance to review Cross Checked because I just.needed.to.know. 

To be honest, I love the plot, it is everything I hoped and expected it to be and the fact that Brayden was one of my favorite characters just made it, even more, sweeter. Brayden was incredibly protective of his sister, and I adore Karla for her dedication to her passion.  

However, similar to the first installment, the story felt a little bit too rushed. I love Brayden and Karla, but there's something about the development of their relationship that bugged me. I felt as if they jumped into the relationship too quickly and because of that it fell short. 

Nevertheless, it was a quick and enjoyable read! 

Although this can be read as a standalone, I feel it is best if you read Hat Trick first to get a full picture of the story.  

T. Gephart brought a whole new meaning to the word "Humor" because I'm literally DYING of laughter. I'm wheezing, my stomach hurts so bad and I don't think my bladder could handle any more of the pressure because I never left my nook from the first page. 

I had my fair share of cringe worthy rom-com but #1 Crush had me crushing hard for the author. This book has totally made T.Gephart a one-click author for me! 

This story is gold. I could totally relate to Tia because I get a lil stalkerish and obsessive too when it comes to celebrity crushes *guilty as charged*, but there's something about her craziness/bravery that totally speaks to my soul. I could totally see Tia as my partner in crime! And oh.. please.. do not get me started on Eric. *cue stalkerish tendencies*. He is just the perfect specimen of a male anatomy, in and out, and I just - NO. - STOP. Control your hormones! 

Hilariously good and entertaining! The ending left me craving for more, and please can I also have a story for Ryan?! 

T Gephart is an indie author from Melbourne, Australia.

T's approach to life has been somewhat unconventional. Rather than going to University, she jumped on a plane to Los Angeles, USA in search of adventure. While this first trip left her somewhat underwhelmed and largely depleted of funds it fueled her appetite for travel and life experience.

With a rather eclectic resume, which reads more like the fiction she writes than an actual employment history, T struggled to find her niche in the world.

While on a subsequent trip the United States in 1999, T met and married her husband. Their whirlwind courtship and interesting impromptu convenience store wedding set the tone for their life together, which is anything but ordinary. They have lived in Louisiana, Guam and Australia and have traveled extensively throughout the US. T has two beautiful young children and one four legged child, Woodley, the wonder dog.

An avid reader, T became increasingly frustrated by the lack of strong female characters in the books she was reading. She wanted to read about a woman she could identify with, someone strong, independent and confident and who didn't lack femininity. Out of this need, she decided to pen her first book, A Twist of Fate. T set herself the challenge to write something that was interesting, compelling and yet easy enough to read that was still enjoyable. Pulling from her own past "colorful" experiences and the amazing personalities she has surrounded herself with, she had no shortage of inspiration. With a strong slant on erotic fiction, her core characters are empowered women who don't have to sacrifice their femininity. She enjoyed the process so much that when it was over she couldn't let it go.

T loves to travel, laugh and surround herself with colorful characters. This inevitably spills into her writing and makes for an interesting journey - she is well and truly enjoying the ride!
