Painting Flowers (Poem)

by - Sunday, August 05, 2012

Hello everyone,

I would like to dedicate this post to everyone for still being here even though I have not been updating as much as I liked to, this year has been pretty busy for me and I've neglected doing what I loved - blogging and reading, but since I already had half a year to adapt to my tight schedule and hectic datelines, I think I'm starting to get a hang on juggling between reading, reviewing and life! I'm sure I won't be an active blogger as I used to be, but I hope to have time to keep updating posts and keep visiting your blogs! I still haven't given up on my passion!

I'm in the middle of reading three books, so I hope my reviewing skills won't grow rusty anytime soon! Thank you once again and sorry for being absent! =D

*I've actually written this a long time ago, but I just want to share a short poem with you guys*

Painting Flowers

The wound was ugly
The scar on her face
Contradicts her beauty
Concealing her grace

Who would want to marry?
An unsightly soul?
She used to be a glory
But now she’s a foul….

In the midst of rejection
There is a shining knight
Who is still painting flowers
To bring the light back to her eyes

*I actually created a video inspired by one of my favorite song! Hope you loved it! *
