Question of the Week: Many readers/bloggers are also big music fans. Tell us about a few of your favorite bands/singers that we should listen to in 2012.

Music is my biggest muse, I couldn't imagine living in a world without music. I listen to all sorts of music but I always have a preference for Indie and Rock. I don't listen much to Pop music but I love to dance to the beat, so here's my list of music to listen in 2012!

Indie


1. Foster The People -  Pumped Up Kicks & Helena Beat
2. Bon Iver - Skinny Love & St Roslyn
3. Mumford and Sons - Little Lion Man & White Blank Page
4. Naked and Famous - Young Blood
5. Grizzly Bear - Slow Life

Rock / Hardcore / Screamo 


Last year I was addicted to screamo and hardcore rock, although I basically grew up with rock music, I find myself to be listening to much more hardcore breakdowns these years.

(#Note: Earplugs advice)

1. Asking Alexandria - A Candlelit Dinner with an Inamorata & A Prophecy 
(This is the current band that I'm addicted to :P)
2. Alesana - Apology (Acoustic) & Annabel
3. A Skylit Drive - Love the way you lie (cover) & All It Takes for your dream to come true
4. Underoath - Some Will seek forgiveness, Others escape & Writing on Walls
5. Breaking Benjamin - Diary of Jane & I will not bow
6. My Chemical Romance -   Cancer & The Ghost of You
7. 30 Seconds to Mars - The Kill & Hurricane
8. Evanescence - Lithium & Bring Me to life

Punk Rock 


1. All Time Low - Therapy , Remembering Sunday & I Feel Like Dancing
2. Paramore - Monster & Decode
3. Hot Chelle Rae - Tonight Tonight & Bleed 

And Some covers I adore!


1. Alesana (screamo) - What goes around comes around (Justin Timberlake's cover)
2. Asking Alexandria - Right Now (Nanana) (Akon's cover)
3. Luke Conard - I Wanna Go (Britney Spears' Cover)
4. I Wanna Go - Hunger Games Parody
5. Cameron Mitchell - Blackbird (The Beetles' cover)

Oh! I am also recently addicted to Taylor Swift's - Safe and sound.

Ah, a pretty long list, I get excited when it comes to books and music!

    I don't like indie much, but I do like Mumford & Sons okay. I do really like Paramore, Breaking Benjamin, 30 Seconds to Mars, and Hot Chelle Rae. I also see some bands my sister likes.
