The Sunday Post #4 - Starting Anew!
This is my first week of internship and I am beyond exhausted. I've never baked so much in my life (I'm not much of a baker) and it amazes me how much I learned in this short first week. Other than that, I am in the midst of planning a trip to Singapore to visit my boyfriend and friends who are currently interning there. I am also very nervous about driving because my dad wanted to give me a car with a shift stick (and I have not drove a manual car for almost 4 years), so my biggest concern is to not die on the road. And just last night, the most amazing thing happened! Author Siobhan Davis (Saven: Deception) asked to quote my review headline on her Amazon product page! That was the highlight of my week.
How was your week?

I am sure the driving will return to you, like riding a bike. Before you know it you will be whizzing through your work day, the first week I think is hardest. Good luck planning your trip, and enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteI certainly hope so! I have phobia towards places with traffic and I couldn't remember roads easily, that's why I'm so stressed about driving even though I keep telling myself that it's a piece of cake. *sigh* Thank you! It will be a short one but still much to plan.
DeleteHi there... I think this is my first visit! I've just had 4wks off so mostly been offline for a while.
ReplyDeleteThe internship sounds interesting and I hope you enjoy it AND hope you get to Singapore!
Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog :) I totally understand how life sometimes gets in the way! Hope you will be online more often ;)
DeleteIt is interesting, but mostly exhausting. Thank you and I hope so myself!
Congrats on your Liebster - and the quote! Looks like you had a good week- and good luck with your trip. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the Liebster :) And that's so exciting that she used your quote!! I'd probably faint xD And yaay for the internship going well, even if it's exhausting! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great week!

Ah, that's so exciting to have your review featured! I just got a portion of mine in a book as well :D I was thrilled!
ReplyDeleteHere is my The Sunday Post!
Saw your review on Deal Breakers. I couldn't even give it a 3 1/2 star review. I stopped reading it at the 80% mark (yeah, yeah, I know I was so close to finishing it). It just, it didn't work for me. But I'm glad you liked better than I did.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your award!! Congrats on the review also!! Have a great week!!

Congrats on having your quote featured! What an honor. You should be able to quickly remember how to drive a manual. A trip to Singapore sound fantastic. You are so busy right now. Enjoy all of it!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That's fantastic news! I would be ecstatic. As for manuals, I always feel the same way. Please don't let me die, please don't let me die. haha I hope you enjoy your Singapore trip!
ReplyDeleteHi! Thank you for stopping by and commenting on my blog. Wishing you a dreamy day!
